Imagine telling 15-year-old me — who hated school, felt like no one got her, and was going through more than most people knew — that one day she’d be featured in the first edition of Croydon Council borough newspaper; for creating a safe space for girls just like her!
She would’ve rolled her eyes.
Buthere we are!
So grateful to be recognised in my hometown for the work we’re doing at Anima Youth. Creating the kind of support I wish I had back then, and making sure no girl feels invisible. And we’re not stopping.
P.S. Kindly keep a look out for some physical copies for me, would love to be able to share them with each of our girls in the photo!
