The Wildflowers is a specialist girls-only Alternative Provision for young people aged 11–18 who are struggling to access mainstream education due to anxiety, SEMH needs, trauma, disrupted education, school avoidance, or safeguarding concerns.

Delivered by Anima Youth, the provision combines:

Who The Wildflowers Supports

The Wildflowers supports girls aged 11–18 who need a smaller, more supportive environment to re-engage with learning and emotional wellbeing.

The Wildflowers is a non-regulated Alternative Provision designed to complement wider educational or EOTAS packages. It does not replace the statutory responsibilities of schools or Local Authorities.

We intentionally keep our groups small to ensure every learner feels supported, understood, and able to engage at their own pace.

As part of our creative pathways, learners access supported work experience opportunities designed to gently introduce them to professional environments in a safe and supported way.

Throughout placements, staff remain present to provide emotional support, communication guidance, and real-time encouragement; helping girls build confidence through positive first experiences.
